Mission

Established in 1977, the mission of the National Abortion Federation (NAF) is to unite, represent, serve, and support abortion providers in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care. NAF is the professional association of abortion providers in North America. Our more than 400 members include private and non-profit clinics, Planned Parenthood affiliates, women's health centers, physicians' offices, hospitals, and public and private clinics in the U.S., Canada, Colombia, and Mexico City. We are unique among pro-choice organizations because we represent the providers who make reproductive choice a reality. We currently offer a range of programs aimed at supporting the clinical, security, and educational capacities of our members. Through our programs, NAF provides: 24/7 security support and emergency assistance to our members; continuing medical education in abortion care; technical assistance and training; and quality assurance and improvement services.
