Second Harvest Community Food Bank

Mission

Because we care about those who struggle with hunger, the mission of Second Harvest Community Food Bank is to provide nourishment and hope to the hungry in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas, while engaging and empowering the region in the fight to end hunger. Second Harvest is a nonprofit food distribution hub and food bank serving over 60 Partner Agencies in 18 counties across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Last year we distributed over 9.6 million pounds of food in hunger relief efforts to over 46,000 individuals who suffer from food insecurity.

2.Increase Annual Pounds of Distribution. -Evaluate and enable agency network and capacity. -Assess each county and develop programs. -Assess client needs and improve service.
3.Sustain funding, communication strategies and marketing campaigns. -Highly engage BOD in our mission. -Increase funds and funding resources
