Mission

Food Outreach's mission is to provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of food-insecure men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. We are the only organization providing these services in the region. Our clients live in over 100 Missouri and Illinois zip codes - many of whom live with multiple secondary illnesses in addition to their primary diagnosis. <br><br>Our free, comprehensive program includes our Medically Tailred Meals and Groceries Program, designed by our staff chef and registered dietitians; individualized dietetic counseling; nutrition education; and meal home delivery to homebound clients. Each client receives two nutritious meals per day throughout enrollment, combined with nutrition counseling and monitoring by our registered dietitian.
