Mission

At Community LINC, our mission is to end homelessness for this generation and the next. We envision Kansas City as a community free of homelessness and one full of equity and opportunity for all our neighbors. For the past 35 years (and counting) we've taken steps toward that goal, ending homelessness for thousands of children and their parents in the Greater Kansas City area. In fact, since 1988, Community LINC has served over 4,690 families in our community-15,609 individuals, including 10,384 children-with either shelter or programming.

Goals

1.To ensure 80% of our population exit to permanent housing.
2.Complete our Affordable Housing Pilot to combat gentrification and skyrocketing housing increases to insure equity in access to affordable housing opportunity.
3.To complete a Strategic Planning Session focused on long term stability and succession planning and transition of key leadership retiring.
