Mission

Trailnet has a 30 plus-year history of promoting active living - a way of life that encourages people to integrate physical activity into their daily routines. Trailnet's mission is to lead in fostering healthy and active communities through innovative programs, planning, and policy that promote walking and bicycling throughout the St. Louis bi-state region.

Vision

We are leading the way by developing policy and on the ground solutions to help people of all ages and abilities reach community and cultural destinations by walking, biking, taking transit, or driving.

Goals

1.Equity: Champion walking/biking as accessible & affordable ways to get around which can be viable transportation choices for people in all communities, ages, abilities, races, genders, & income levels
2.Collaboration: We build partnerships to achieve our mission. We identify and convene cross-sector organizations to galvanize progressive ideas and resources.
3.Sustainability: Increase opportunities for walking/biking, a positive effect on the environment, public health, & the economy. Organize, promote & model environmentally-friendly practices & behaviors
