Lydia's House

Mission

Lydia’s House provides domestic violence survivors and their children a safe place to heal, a voice for justice, and an opportunity for better and sustainable lives. Lydia's House fulfills this mission by: providing safe, affordable transitional housing in a confidential location for a maximum of two years; assisting women and their children to create and implement long term individual life-goal plans which include education, training, employment, and safe housing; facilitating access to information and referrals to community resources; and creating awareness about domestic violence through a speakers' bureau and an outreach educational ministry.

Goals

1.Enhance our security plan, including developing a budget to improve security at each individual property as well as overall properties.
2.Identify a marketing partnership to assist Lydia's House with public-facing communications, including the development of a marketing plan and key measures.
3.Sell out attendance at the Gala at our current venue (currently 400 people). Increase corporate sponsorship by 25%, as well as Gala revenue by 10%.
