Breakfast Club Inc.

Mission

The Breakfast Club Inc. Mission is to: - Increase the rate of mammography screening, clinical breast exams and breast self-awareness among African American women residing in North St. Louis City and County. - Decrease the incidence of late-stage breast cancer in the target population. - Increase the availability of breast cancer information, resources, navigation assistance and support to underserved women in the St. Louis community.

Vision

The Breakfast Club vision is to have a Community ( North City and County ) that reduces health disparities and provides mammography screening and breast health/cancer education.

Goals

1.Provide comprehensive education and outreach to uninsured and underinsured women to increase awareness of breast health, breast cancer screening guidelines.
2.Raise awareness of the target population to the continued disparities in breast cancer incidence and mortality. The Breakfast Club provides service to African-American women and other women of color. We provide Bras, Breast Forms, Gloves and Sleeves. And Breast Health Education on an On-Going basis.
3.Increase access to mammography screening and clinical breast exams. Provide resources, health system navigation assistance and core support to women with abnormal screening results.
