Vision

A Kansas City community committed to health equity for all families – regardless of race, place or circumstance – beginning with a child’s birth through a continuum of care.

Goals

1. 1.Sustain and/or increase benchmark results for Nurture KC's Healthy Start Initiative. Adapt interventions based on evolving needs of participants to help them improve their health outcomes and reduce the impact of social determinants of health.
2. 2.Increase efficiencies of financial management and human resource managements systems and processes resulting in improved strategic planning and better employee benefits.
3. 3.Advocate for key issues that directly impact the health outcomes of our participants including expanding access to paid parental, family, and medical leave; protecting vaccine requirements; protecting vital social safety net services; and investing in affordable housing.
