Mission

YWCA Cass Clay is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We carry out our mission through the pillar of empowerment, by helping women gain confidence as they recover from the damaging effects of poverty and violence. Each woman who comes to our door is provided with the tools needed to transform her life. Without judgement, we offer safe shelter, food, clothing, childcare, education and employment services, health counseling, and transportation assistance on each woman's personal journey to independence.

Vision

By 2027, YWCA Cass Clay will empower 8,500 women and children to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.

Goals

1.Strengthen YWCA's Staff team. Nurture a culture of growth, development, equity, and accountability to engage, retain, and reward team members as they advance the mission of the organization.
2.Expand and enhance YWCA Stabilization Services, and expand YWCA's Supportive Housing Program. Help more people stay in or secure reliable housing.
3.Secure resources to fuel YWCA's mission now and in the future. Ensure organizational sustainability and increase funding through diverse revenue streams.
