Goals

1. 1.Make food assistance programs more accessible to the larger community and region, in line with the need we have seen over the last several years. This includes expanding food pantry hours, implementing and maintaining a Mobile Food Pantry, expanding the Backpack Program to every elementary school in our community, and making daily meals available out the door.
2. 2.Implement an in-house addiction support program, which offers clients the opportunity to meet with a licensed addiction counselor. Through this program, clients can talk through their issues, learn and practice strategies for overcoming addiction and maintaining sobriety. The program will also serve as a gateway to continuing support upon exiting the shelter.
3. 3.Restructure the workflow and strategy behind our fundraising, so that our team can more effectively communicate with our donors and the community at large. This involves the addition of a donor development coordinator and the adoption of automation and segmentation. A particular focus will be given to ensuring communications are personalized and relevant to a donor's interests and motivations.
