Mission

It is the mission of Operation International to improve healthcare in underprivileged communities around the world by providing free surgical and medical care to patients, training local medical professionals, and assisting hospitals in developing sustainable medical infrastructure to better serve their patients. Operation International is equally committed to combating the cycle of poverty and hopelessness that further besets the lives of children, and particularly orphans, in these communities by providing material assistance to meet their immediate needs for proper nutrition, clothing, housing and education, while also helping orphanages with sustainable sources of electricity, water and food.
