Mission

The mission of the Legacy Arts Project, Inc. is to preserve, promote, and create Africana arts that honor the history, heritage, and cultures of Africa diaspora in ways that advance healing and wellness, education, and community empowerment.

Vision

A world where underserved communities have access to high quality arts and culture experiences and education.

Goals

1.Strengthen the Legacy Arts Project’s organizational capacity by enhancing staffing, systems, and infrastructure to support sustainable growth. This investment will improve program delivery, expand community impact, and ensure the organization can meet increasing demand for culturally rooted arts and wellness programming.
2.Expand access to the Legacy Arts Project’s culturally rooted arts and wellness programs by increasing capacity, strengthening outreach, and removing barriers to participation. This investment will allow more youth, families, and community members to engage in year-round creative and wellness opportunities.
