From the beginning our customers have power to help shape the development of PayPal Giving Fund. If we don't listen to our donors, they will use other platforms to make their donations. The more we can understand where and how donors want to give, the better we can create experiences that will be attractive to them -- and generate more dollars for charity.
What challenges does your organization face in collecting feedback from the people you serve?
We don't have any major challenges to collecting feedback
Briefly describe a recent change that your organization made in response to feedback from the people you serve.
We make constant changes based on customer feedback. Recently we've added a widget to the charity dashboard pages that allows charities to get customized help as well as provide direct feedback on their experiences and desires. Based on this feedback we are in the process of redesigning the full charity dashboard experience to make information more transparent and accessible. On the donor side, we are constantly talking to donors about where and how they give, allowing us to support new product development (like Give@Checkout and Generosity Network) and demand that our merchant partners follow best in class donor disclosure practices.
