Goals

1. 1.Hygiene insecurity is a hidden crisis in Massachusetts. Despite distributing 5 million items in 2025, there are many without regular access to items like soap, toothpaste and menstrual products. This impacts mental health, physical health, school attendance and employment opportunities. We aim to increase our physical distribution of products in Massachusetts to 10M products in the next 5 years.
2. 2.Build a strong research base. Hygiene insecurity does not have a validated measurement tool to quantify the issue and measure impact. We aim to change that by partnering with a renowned research organization to create that tool and measure impact. This same process was done with food insecurity ~15 years ago which made 'food insecurity' a known phrase and garnered exponential support.
3. 3.Increase our efforts to accelerate awareness of Hygiene Insecurity as well as of our organization, to increase critical resources (of money and products) and advocate to policy makers for support.
