Mission

SeaLife Response, Rehabilitation and Research (SR3) was established in response to critical gaps in protections for marine animals in the Pacific Northwest. The organization serves a total of 3,000 miles of coastline in Oregon and Washington State, including one of the world’s largest and most biologically rich inland seas, the Salish Sea. Fueled by ocean lovers like you, SR3 works every day to rescue and protect marine animals. Together, we deliver emergency response and expert rehabilitation to give sick, injured and entangled marine animals a second chance at life in the wild. Through research and education, we also champion a healthier future for marine animals - and for us all! Our mission: to promote the health and welfare of marine wildlife in the Pacific Northwest.
