Each year, the organization has two Board meetings/leadership retreats to discuss the foundation and how we can continue to support the SEAL community. In addition, our Managing Director presents to conferences around the country about the Foundation and its impact on the community.

The Foundation has grown in size and scope due to the organization's external mobilization efforts and utilizing what we like to call "Friend-raising"

The Foundation had to adapt to the changes that the COVID-19 presented and did so in an extraordinary way. The Foundation was able to pivot critical events into virtual fundraisers so that we could still provide needed support to the SEAL Community. That support included: Over $250,000 in scholarships. Support for Home Base’s Intensive Clinical Program (ICP) for post- traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury or other invisible wounds is offered free of cost to Navy SEALs. In the ICP, SEALs receive close to a year’s worth of treatment in two weeks, putting them on a path of success that will be complemented by ongoing care in their home towns. Treatment, lodging, transportation and meals are covered. Support for the SEALKids program to offer tutoring services. Support for our individual Grants program for SEALs and their families.
