Vision

Founded in 2013, the Young Americans for Liberty Foundation (YALF) is the educational and training arm of Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), emerging from the momentum of Ron Paul’s 2008 campaign. As threats to liberty persist, YALF is expanding its programs to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools to defend constitutional freedoms. Through growing college chapters, advanced leadership programs, and grassroots advocacy, we will train thousands more students to challenge unconstitutional policies and drive real policy victories. Our network of 25,000+ members and 400+ chapters has already impacted over 3 million students, and we are scaling our efforts to recruit, train, and mobilize even more. In 2025 and beyond, YALF will strengthen its impact by expanding student training, supporting future legislators, and ensuring the principles of liberty shape America’s future leaders.

Goals

1. 1.YALF's goal to build the youth movement for liberty is met by training and empowering students to defend constitutional freedoms. Through national programs, leadership summits, and financial support, we equip young leaders with advocacy tools. Our flagship event, YALCON, and state trainings provide hands-on experience.
2. 2.Young Americans for Liberty is expanding its Flagship National Conference, YALCON, to four additional cities: San Francisco, Atlanta, St. Louis, and D.C. Each will host over 200 YAL students, grassroots activists, and state legislators for a weekend of intense training, networking, and keynote speeches. These events combine our previous Grassroots and Legislator trainings into one event.
3. 3.YALF recently launched the Student Rights Campaign (SRC) to oppose campus policies that violate students’ rights. By training and mobilizing students, SRC helps identify unconstitutional policies and applies grassroots pressure for change. Covering free speech, self-defense, and medical freedom, SRC equips YAL chapters to challenge administrative overreach and defend liberty.
