Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation

Mission

The foundation focuses on children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer. We provide grants to cover fees now charged by schools directly to families for everyday services like advanced placement classes science music art field trips all day kindergarten and many others for our families K-12. In addition we have aligned with several therapeutic organizations to offer their services so each child has a voice outside the home. We have been working with families since 2013 and returned to our roots in 2025 by closing our branch states of Arizona Illinois and Utah and serving them all from our domiciled state of Colorado.

2.We intend to have a physical presence in all 50 states. We are currently in 11 and will continue our growth until we are in all 50.
3.We are always checking our program and results to make sure we're doing our best for our families. As children grow sometimes the needs change and we strive to stay flexible so we can pivot as needed.
