Shippensburg Produce Outreach Inc.

Mission

We reach out to those in need in the greater Shippensburg community by responding with food and/or services.

Vision

SPO strives to maintain our focus on providing a balance of quality, healthy food, preserving our current partnerships and forging new ones, while acting sustainably to ensure our future serving the Shippensburg community.

Goals

1.An increase in costs to purchase healthy foods for distribution compounded by SPO's distribution quadrupling due to increased need resulted in SPO implementing a 3-year Strategic Plan to ensure the resources for addressing the food-insecurity are available. Year 1 of the Strategic Plan focuses on outreach and story-telling to broaden the donor and volunteer bases that underpin SPO's mission.
