Vision

Our Minds Matter is betting big on teens themselves to help solve the youth mental health crisis. We see a future where all middle and high schools have a peer-led mental health community, and where teens are empowered to create tangible mental health benefits for OMM club members as well as the student body at large.

Goals

1. 1.To meet the growing mental health needs of teens, OMM has set a goal to serve at least 4,000 unique teens directly through club participation. Our program has a national reach and is deeply saturated in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region, where we partner closely with three school districts (DCPS, MCPS, FCPS).
2. 2.We strive to improve mental well-being for at least 75% of club members as a result of their participation in OMM.
3. 3.Our goal is to reach 100,000+ teens through peer-led outreach and support. OMM strives to drive school-wide culture change and positively affect mental health outcomes for a broader student population--beyond club members & student leaders.
