THE STJOENDP,INC EXISTS TO PROMOTE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ACTIVITIES ON A LOCAL LEVEL. THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED BY THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS SINCE 1952, BY DECLARING THE FIRST THURSDAY IN MAY AS A DAY TO ENCOURAGE PRAYER FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS. STJOENDP,INC. SEEKS TO PROMOTE PRAYER FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN ST. JOSEPH MISSOURI BY HOLDING EVENTS ON THE FIRST THURSDAY IN MAY.
