Mission

ScholarMatch’s mission is to support underserved first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds to earn a bachelor’s degree within five years. We provide virtual individualized advising, targeted financial support, and career mentoring all the way to graduation.

Goals

1.Continue to strengthen organizational infrastructure to ensure smooth operations, growth opportunities for staff, a thriving board, revenue generation, and meaningful impact in communities we serve.
2.Expand our geographic reach. We primarily serve first-generation students in the San Francisco and Los Angeles regions and will continue to expand our services to additional targeted geographies.
3.Prioritize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Throughout everything we do, we keep our focus on the economic and cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion within the communities we serve.
