THE AGENCY DECIDED TO INVEST IN A PHILANTHROPY DIRECTOR WHO WILL ASSIST THE AGENCY IN ACHIEVING ITS FINANCIAL GOALS. ADDITIONALLY, THE AGENCY HAS WORKED EXTREMELY HARD IN MAINTAINING KEY RELATIONSHIPS WITH FUNDERS, AND IN MANY CASES, NEW OPPORTUNITIES BECAME AVAILABLE TO THE AGENCY BECAUSE OF THOSE RELATIONSHIPS. BOTH BOARD AND LEADERSHIP REALIZE THE GREAT REPUTATION THE AGENCY HAS IN THIS COMMUNITY SO IT HAS GIVEN STAFF, BOARD AND LEADERSHIP NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAMMING THAT WILL BENEFIT COMMUNITY. THE AGENCY WAS ABLE TO IMPLEMENT INFANT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES WITH HEAD START BECAUSE OF OUR REPUTATION AND LEADERSHIP APPROACHED TO DO THIS WORK.
THE AGENCY ALSO INVESTED IN MARKETING STRATEGIES TO CONTINUALLY GET OUR MESSAGE OUT TO THE BROADER COMMUNITY THROUGH THE MANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AVAILABLE TO THE AGENCY. WE ARE CONSTANTLY WORKING WITH BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF TO BE PART OF THIS OVERALL MESSAGING TO REACH THE BROADER COMMUNITY. WE ARE WORKING ON A MORE ORGANIZAED PLAN IN OUR MESSAGING GOING FORWARD THAT WILL ALLOW FOR MORE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
PALM BEACH COUNTY IS A VERY EXPENSIVE PLACE TO LIVE SO THE AGENCY CONTINUES TO EXPLORE WAYS TO INCREASE SALARIES AND ALSO ENSURE A HEALTHY WORKPLACE FOR STAFF. THE AGENCY WILL BE INCREASING SALARIES BY 5% THIS YEAR, MAINTAIN 100% PAID HEALTH INSURANCE BY EMPLOYER, AND ALSO A 5% CONTRIBUTION OF GROSS WAGES TOWARDS EMPLOYEE'S 401K. ADDITIONALLY, THE AGENCY LEADERSHIP WORKS ON STAFF MORALE ISSUES AND CELEBRATES THEIR WORK ACCOMPLISHMENTS. THIS HAS PAID OFF AS THE AGENCY HAS RECENTLY HIRED BACK FOUR STAFF WHO WANTED TO WORK AT FAMILIES FIRST OF PALM BEACH COUNTY AGAIN & ALSO HAVE PROMOTED FROM WITHIN, RECENTLY TWO SUPERVISORS.
