New Mexico Gay Mens Chorus

Mission

NMGMC strives to be an empowering voice for the LGBTQ community and to enrich our greater New Mexican community through choral excellence

Vision

We envision a New Mexico where every voice is valued, every story is honored, and music is a powerful force for belonging, healing, and change—uniting LGBTQ+ communities and allies through artistic excellence and shared humanity.

Goals

1.NMGMC introduced our NextGen program that offers people 30 and under access to $20 tickets for any seat in the theater. Our goal is to inspire a new generation of music and culture lovers.
2.Through a strategic planning session with the Board of Directors, we have a 5-year goal to be able to hire a paid Executive Director to help foster donor cultivation, community engagement, and guide the chorus as the organization continues to grow.
3.NMGMC is currently creating a peer mentor training program to grow new leaders who can offer much needed support of LGBTQ+ youth and community in a time where resources have been cut or scaled back.
