The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: SALT currently operate comprehensive mobile outreach centers for the unhoused which include a combination of street outreach and day services through the use of vehicles and trailers (ie. shower trailers, laundry trailers, case management vehicles, etc.). Starting in 2025, SALT Outreach will start meet a growing need in our community and operate a mobile shelter operation through shelter trailers.
Goal Two: SALT currently has six locations across Central and Mid-Florida along with outposts in Tampa & Daytona, and San Diego, CA. The six locations in Central and Mid-Florida include downtown Orlando, Sanford, Bithlo, Pine Hills, Apopka, and Leesburg. SALT is dedicating 2025 to grown and scale each of these locations and expand its service offering.
Goal Three: SALT has already scaled back initiatives and programs not seen as core to its mission. So in 2025, we will be focusing on our core programs to lead to our chief outcomes. This includes breaking our records in unduplicated people served, total number of services and resources rendered, and number of people who transition into housing after services with SALT Outreach.
