Mission

Our mission is to stop pet over-population and senseless euthanasia of companion animals through spay and neuter programs and strategic partnerships. Fix Georgia Pets (FGP) provides grants to clinics, shelters, rescues, etc. across our state to reduce the number of pets that end up in shelters and stop this senseless suffering and killing of companion animals. As a state, we cannot end overpopulation and stop senseless euthanasia without focusing efforts on proactive spay/neuter programs in the highest risk communities. FGP is very similar to the United Way of Greater Atlanta in the sense that we aim to support clinics, shelters, rescues, etc. across Georgia. We don't do the work, we support those who do the work.

Vision

Georgia is currently ranked 5th in the nation for the euthanasia of companion animals. We hope to move Georgia down in ranking!

Goals

1.Our goal is to have more large spay and neuter events all around Georgia. We completed an 2 events to spay and neuter 166 cats and 40 med-large dogs. Love to do more of these through out the year. Each one is about $10,00 to $25,000 depending on the number of days.
2.Our NEW Voucher program for individuals all over Georgia. The demand is so high, we have to close it till we raise more funding. in 3 months, we received over 600 asks. The monly run rate is around $20,000 just for this program alone.
3.Increase awareness through social media, events, and increase sales of the License plate via our sister organization, Georgia Pet Foundation.
