Mission

For the past 20 years Healing Waters International (HWI) has addressed the world's toughest water problems by designing low-cost water treatment systems that remove high-risk contaminants, making safe water accessible and affordable to the most remote and impoverished communities. HWI always works alongside community members, training some to build and maintain the water treatment plant and others to deliver a health and hygiene curriculum aimed at building long-term, healthy habits. HWI currently has 507 active community projects, with 384,128 individuals receiving safe water every day.
