Vision

Reduce barriers to learning to alleviate multi-generational poverty for youth and adults in North Philadelphia.

Goals

1. 1.As we enter into our 25th year of serving the 19133 zip code, Hope intends to expand our programs to ensure our mission is meeting the needs of our students and alumni. The 2026-27 academic year represents year three of our three year strategic plan. Growth looks like expanded physical space and developing additional workforce development pathways.
2. 2.While our impact and outcomes have demonstrated a strong ROI for donors and significant, life-altering results for youth, we only have 20 faculty and staff members. In order to expand in any direction, we know that we need additional fundraising staff to source new revenue, Graduate Support staff to guide our growing alumni population, and instructional staff to meet academic needs.
3. 3.Our alumni population is not only growing, but more of our students are eligible to attend traditional four year colleges or universities. These first-time college-bound young people are exceptional scholars, but their families more times than not do not have the ability to fund tuition. We are also aiming to expand our workforce development programming to prepare young people for their first job.
