    Adaptability Practices
    30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
R&H was fortunate to not being in full operations during COVID. The forced patience allowed us to better understand how our needs as a society were shifting. How those shifts, as painful as they have been, and still are, has made the mission of R&H to be a thought leader and stakeholder in the sustainability space -- a needed voice. A locally focused voice. There are a lot of organizations doing amazing work, but the local focus. The every day person and how they engage the environmental world, collectively has more impact than the largest Fortune 50 company. The external changes during Covid, including the murder of George Floyd, shed a light on local mobilization in a way nothing in my lifetime has. We are prepared to deliver the same ideals we champion -- that every community needs, in the way 'that' community needs it.
