Mission

The Lewin Fund to Fight Women’s Cancers is committed to improving the quality-of-life for women facing cancer, advancing preventative strategies, and funding innovative research. Founded in 2014 by Dr. Sharyn N. Lewin, a renowned gynecologic oncologist and surgeon, we partner with leading researchers, healthcare institutions, and advocacy organizations to expand access to care and empower patients. Inspired by the legacy of a courageous woman, we are committed to a future where every woman has the support, knowledge, and treatment she needs.

A world where every woman has the knowledge, access, and support to prevent, detect, and overcome gynecologic cancers – so no one faces this journey alone.

Goals

1.Our goal is to increase access to our existing education, research, and patient support programs, ensuring that women from all backgrounds—especially those in underserved communities—benefit from lifesaving resources and information.
2.The Lewin Fund stays aligned with the latest gynecologic cancer research to fund programs that directly address the evolving needs of women facing cancer, ensuring our efforts remain relevant and impactful.
3.The Lewin Fund is committed to furthering our advocacy work by hosting educational events, seminars, and supporting programs that raise awareness about gynecologic cancers, particularly within underserved communities.
