    To restore and maintain the Memorial fountain in front of Washington, DC, police headquarters and construct a Wall adjacent thereto with the names of MPD police officers killed in the line of duty, and to restore and maintain the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) museum of police artifacts dating back to its founding in 1861 by President Abraham Lincoln and thereby educate the public on the rich history of MPD.
