We directly restore and conserve natural and working lands and aquatic resources through conservation protections and sustainable land, aquatic, and natural resource restoration and management. Unique Places to Save was founded to address unmet needs in the land and natural resource conservation space. By leveraging our entrepreneurial mindset and fostering a culture of innovation, we strive to bring forth creative solutions to safeguard these unique places that bring agricultural, ecological, and natural value. Our fiscal resources and stewardship acumen make us one of the premier partners for conservation and mitigation projects in North America.
Vision
Here at Unique Places to Save we are playing our part in restoring and conserving land and aquatic resources for generations to come. Clean and plentiful water, land for healthy food production, and high ecological diversity are goals we pursue every day. As the world changes, so must we. We work to solve complex problems that can no longer be solved through the status quo and bring innovative ideas and approaches to the conservation challenges facing us today. We are deeply proud of what we have accomplished over the last 12 years and feel that we’re only getting started. We invite you to join our journey by following along with our updates and getting involved.
Goals
- 1.The conservation of ecosystems, working & agricultural lands, and other terrestrial and aquatic resources provide a valuable service and benefit to the public and our partners. We coordinate with stakeholders of many different types to ensure land conservation and mitigation projects are conserved into perpetuity and include adequate resources for long-term stewardship and maintenance.
- 2.Unique Places to Save is a group of committed professionals who share a passion for high-functioning ecological, aquatic, and agricultural systems. Our board of directors is composed of individuals with experience across various industries from real estate development to software startups. Coupling that with a focus on our people leads to long-lasting relationships with everyone we interact with.
