Mission

At over 1,200,000 members strong, United We Dream (UWD) is the nation’s largest multiracial network led by and for immigrant youth working in pursuit of a world in which our communities can thrive. From consecutive to dynamic, year-round campaigns at the federal and state/local levels, UWD has built a robust digital and distributed organizing program to effect tangible change and foster new changemakers on and offline. Through unique, culturally responsive digital content, our organization works to advance potent cultural and narrative shifts that center immigrant stories as a praxis for collective transformation. United We Dream Network’s program model empowers young people to participate in our democracy and stand up for immigrant rights. We are driven by the hopes, dreams, decisions, and brilliance of immigrant and undocumented youth, LGBTQ and people of color; this allows us to leverage the power of directly impacted young people’s lived experience to push forward strong campaigns and narrative change. We create welcoming spaces for young people – regardless of immigration status – to make their voices heard and win victories so all people can live free and thrive.
