We see a future that embraces algae as an essential solution for a healthy society and planet.

Goals

1. 1.The Algae Foundation aims to increase program impact and engagement for all programs. This includes but is not limited to launching AlgaePrize 3, developing new curriculum for algae biotech and cultivation courses, and expanding our K-12 programs across the nation with the goal of being in every school district in the nation.
2. 2.The Algae Foundation aims to increase fundraising capacity to capture alternative revenue streams for continued growth of our programs. This includes leveraging board member engagement in fundraising processes, diversifying fundraising efforts to include in-kind donation, corporate giving, various other avenues, and launching an annual giving campaign.
3. 3.The Algae Foundation aims to demonstrate our value to the public through a robust update of our data and evaluation of programs. This includes a review of current practices, working with an outside assessment professional to update and fill in gaps in our current evaluation systems, and continuing to publish the findings in the annual report .
