Vision

We anticipate serving 475 children and their families from across Arizona in 2024 – a 50% increase from 2022. Programs include Social Support (comforting items for children entering chemotherapy, family and respite activities), Emotional Support (counseling, therapy dog), and Financial Assistance (direct support for qualifying families). In 2023 ACFC opened an innovative Resource Center that caters to the special needs of children with cancer and their families. This center is open while renovations to enhance and expand services take place. ACFC seeks to improve outcomes for children with cancer and their families by ensuring they have a place to live, access to medical treatment and support tailored to their individual needs.

Goals

1. 1.ACFC provides personalized financial support, aiding with budgeting, resources, and essential items. Funeral and end-of-life expenses are also covered.
2. 2.ACFC's 12,000 sq ft resource center offers activities tailored to children with cancer, providing a safe haven for them to just be kids.
3. 3.ACFC provides individual/group therapy, play therapy, workshops, art therapy, and visits from therapy dogs. We offer grief counseling for families as well.
