Mission

Our mission is to raise public awareness, beginning in early childhood years and continuing into adulthood, as well as linking state of the art skin cancer evaluation and care to those who cannot otherwise obtain it.

Vision

SafeSun is dedicated the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of malignant melanoma and other life threatening forms of cancer of the skin. Eradicating skin cancer, which is preventable, through education, awareness and research is our aspirational goal.

Goals

1.Educate the public, beginning in our community and then supporting other organizations outside of our community, regarding the prevention of skin cancer.
2.Continue to provide permanent sunshade structures to organizations in need, partnering with the American Academy of Dermatology when possible.
3.Continue to provide free sunscreen at beaches, parks and events in our community, therefore raising awareness and educating the public as well to the need of protecting their skin.
