Dragon Master Initiative envisions a future where every child and adult facing cancer has the power of precision medicine on their side — a world where data drives cures, collaboration fuels discovery, and hope is transformed into healing. By uniting researchers, clinicians, patients, and technology, we aspire to create a future in which cancer is not a mystery to be fought in the dark, but a challenge we see our way through together with knowledge, innovation, and unwavering determination.

Goals

1. 1.Expand the Children’s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN) and the CAVATICA data platforms to increase the number of patients included to not only give a more in-depth view of rare cancers, but begin to empower precision medicine efforts for each patient.
2. 2.Assist families of children with brain cancer by giving them resources to travel for specialized care. This ensures that each child receives the most accurate diagnosis, the latest evidence-based treatments, and support from multidisciplinary teams experienced in managing the medical and emotional complexities of rare pediatric cancers.
3. 3.Engage with NCI, FDA, and other agencies to ensure policies and research reflect real patient needs. Through advisory roles, data-sharing, and advocacy, DMI brings patient voices to key decisions, champions open science, guides responsible data use, and supports international efforts to improve trials, data access, and precision medicine.
