RAIN is a life-science innovation hub growing companies talent and jobs in biotechnology.

RAIN seeks to bring an Education, Research and Technology hub to Pierce County that is welcoming to

1.Develop innovative experiential science education to bring opportunities in higher education and careers in science to communities that traditionally lack equity in these fields.
2.Expand flexible research and teaching space to allow for growth of local science opportunities, including support of science start ups to generate employment.
3.Invest in staffing that is reflective of our community demographics that is in support of outreach and expansion of long term career and education goals.
