Mission

Our mission is to unite the community as a hub for the arts in the region, and to serve as a home for local, national, and international artists to showcase their work. We believe in blurring the lines between artist and audience by immersing the community in the appreciation and contextualization of art in its many forms—including film, music, theatre, opera, dance, visual arts, education, lectures, and more.

Vision

The UNITED is where U belong. Together we are: One UNITED community. A place to spark conversation, catalyze learning and growth, and showcase world-class talent alongside the next generation of artists and makers. A locally amplified and nationally resonant platform for arts, education, and entertainment.

Goals

1.The UNITED will expand access to arts programs across Southern New England by scaling our free After-School Arts program (with transportation), increasing scholarships beyond current aid levels, and broadening our instrument lending library. In 2026, we expanded our campus to include leased space in an additional historic venue to grow educational and community programming.
