Vision

By providing exciting, positive opportunities for injured veterans and adaptive sports athletes to participate in sports within their community and on a national level, we have established WWAR as a key player in the Adaptive sports arena, partnering with our members to: • Encourage more participation in Adaptive Sports • Enhance athletes’ health. • Elevate athletes’ performance through training and education. • Actively engage in both the Local and National Sports Community

Goals

1. 1.WWAR works as a solution to address the urgent need in our community by providing a facility, resources, mentorship, transport, events and equipment for people living with paralysis and their family to integrate in the community at no cost. As we serve Veterans from All eras we will look to offer new programming that addresses their abilities : Archery , Remote Control racing
2. 2.Our Goal is to Introduce 30 new players by promoting and hosting monthly free open sports clinics with new equipment to try out, provide mentor support and coaching to all and by providing access to national competitions we encourage Geographical engagement
3. 3.To provide year-round adaptive transport, onsite storage and access to adaptive equipment for many groups in the Tampa Bay area including the VA, Children’s charities, Schools, adaptive sports groups to all come and use at our community park.
