Vision

A future where every adoptable pet has a safe path out of overcrowded shelters and into a loving home. Rescued Pets Movement envisions a national network of shelters, rescues, and communities working together so that geography is never a barrier to life-saving. Through compassionate collaboration, responsible transport, and strong partnerships, we strive to ensure that healthy and treatable animals are no longer euthanized simply because a shelter runs out of space. Our goal is a system where shelters are supported, communities are engaged, and every animal has the opportunity to be rescued, cared for, and placed with a family who will love them.

Goals

1. 1.Work to diversify our financial support system through outreach of mission into the community of donors, growing board of directors, and increased transparency.
2. 2.Save safe and healthy animals that are facing euthanasia. Provide basic medical services to animals to ensure that they have a healthy profile that ensures a safe transport and resulting adoption.
3. 3.That animals pulled from the various euthanasia lists find placement with a transport partner in states with a need for adoptable pets who can find them an adoptable home.
