Code Savvy

Mission

Code Savvy is dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities in computer science. Our mission is to interrupt and counteract gender, racial, and socioeconomic disparities in computing by equipping youth and educators with the knowledge, skills, and support to create with technology. Since 2013, we have empowered students and teachers through hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and educator training, ensuring a lasting impact in classrooms and communities across Minnesota.

Vision

Inspire equitable computer science learning to transform the future for good.

Goals

1.Expand reach through partnerships with mission-aligned orgs, and increase underserved and underrepresented youth participation across all of our programs.
2.Strengthen board governance and capacity by establishing clear roles, sustainable onboarding practices, and full board engagement in supporting the organization.
3.Build strong statewide partnerships and create lasting ways to recognize the volunteers who power our programs.
