    Adaptability Practices
    30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
From the fall of Afghanistan to our nation's continued appetite for endless wars has created a mental health crisis among the military's active-duty community. This has resulted in a spike in fraudulent discharges of injured service members. The need for USJAG's services has increased, while donations continue to remain at a stagnant level due to the economic uncertainties the nation is facing. The all-volunteer staff at USJAG is becoming increasingly stretched thin as more cases come in. Due to the aforementioned, USJAG has to triage cases, and unfortunately, many injured service members are being denied a medical retirement and stripped of their benefits, honors, and dignity.
