Goals

1. 1.1) Sustainable Food Production through Environmental Stewardship - Promote and prioritize environmental stewardship in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the on-site school gardens and YMCA community food forest to support biodiversity, mitigate climate change, protect the local ecosystem, and maximize food production using place-based, organic, regenerative, agroforestry techniques.
2. 2.2) Education & Community Development - Promote sustainable agriculture and food systems education among youth and community members through school garden programs, afterschool & intersession day camps, apprenticeships, educational workshops, and Kumu Mea Kanu Kit distributions.
3. 3.3) Develop a Sustainable & Equitable Food System - Cultivate and distribute culturally appropriate nutrient-dense food to families, promoting their health and well-being while reducing food insecurity in the community.
