Mission

Smart Choices Texas has a mission to transform the lives of our most vulnerable populations; Children, older adults, Veterans, and people with disabilities. We work to banish poverty and nourish underserved communities through food relief, education, street outreach for homeless youth, domestic disaster relief, and small business development. Cultivating a path of smarter, healthier, stronger, abundant communities.

Goals

1.Expand access to high quality, affordable, fresh, and healthy foods to everyone. Especially fresh fruits and vegetables. Focusing on low-income, high-poverty areas, and food desert communities.
2.Provide street outreach services to homeless youth under the age of 18 who have been subjected to, or are at risk of sexual abuse, prostitution, sexual exploitation, sex-trafficking, or other abuse.
3.Provide disaster relief resources for survivors located within the United States. Distribute initial loads of aid and set up distribution channels through partner organizations for future shipments.
