Vision

The Will Erwin Headache Research Foundation provides relief for headache sufferers through a state-of-the-art clinic in Houston which conducts cutting edge research with a singular focus on finding a cure. We bring together a community of headache sufferers, family, and friends whose lives are impacted by this disorder. We also team researchers and physicians around the world who are committed to finding a cure.

Goals

1. 1.The current waitlist at the Will Erwin Headache Research Foundation Center is 8-9 months. When patients are facing debilitating pain, that can feel like a lifetime. We are committed to cutting this wait time in half by the end of 2027. This will be achieved through the hiring of a second physician in our clinic.
2. 2.After conducting a SWOT Analysis in 2025 (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats), our Board of Directors became aware of weaknesses in our internal systems. We are in need of upgraded computer programs that "speak" to one another. Our current Strategic Plan outlines the ways we will invest in technology includeing in a client management system and new website.
3. 3.We are focused on looking critically at our budget in the year ahead. We want to decrease spending in order to invest in our program expansion goals. We are also increasing our financial technology to integrate seamlessly with our new client management system and website.
