Vision

We envision a world where students are encouraged to share their individual voices to uplift the greater community and world, by developing well rounded, responsible film making artists.

Goals

1. 1.We have a robust network in New Orleans. Our primary goal is to share our bespoke film curriculum throughout the state of Louisiana, to reach as many students as possible. There is no current curriculum in the state, and our work fills that void.
2. 2.The students that work on individual films, have the opportunity to create pieces of advocacy. The documentaries our students produce can be important snap shots of their community, and tell stories from a unique vantage point, that may be lost to history.
3. 3.We are leaning into more smaller scoped projects. We have found that the sooner that we provide students with the technical skills, the sooner they are eager to work together on experimental projects. We want them to practice filming and editing smaller pieces, so that it builds the muscle, to feel comfortable to make lengthier projects.
