Mission

The mission of the Shirley Proctor Puller Foundation (SPPF) is to advance reading, math, and science literacy to help close the achievement gap for the children in "at risk" communities in St. Petersburg, starting with South St. Pete.

Vision

We are preparing our students to be next-generation leaders who excel academically, emotionally, and professionally, with unlimited opportunities for economic success.

Goals

1.Expand to reach 400-500 target scholars
2.For SPPF’s long term sustainability we will focus on developing a staff pipeline, succession planning, leadership development, and becoming a great place to work.
3.Articulate a replicable model to ensure “quality interventional programming” that delivers our mission, advances literacy and closes achievement gaps, and promotes workforce readiness.
