Outdoors Empowered Network

Mission

Outdoors Empowered Network is a national network of community-led, youth-centered outdoor education groups that are dedicated to increasing access and diversity in the outdoors through gear libraries and outdoor leadership training. We seed and support gear libraries around the country by providing gear fundraising, mentoring and consulting, and a professional community. With members across the country, we support access to nature for tens of thousands of young people each year. We look forward to a future where every community has access to a gear library and community-led outdoor experiences.

2.We are collaboratively building out a best-in-field outdoor skills training resource library that works with the intersectional challenges and opportunities faced by our members in outdoor spaces.
3.Our work centers diversity, equity, and inclusion by building diversity in our membership and using actionable language about DEI challenges in outdoor spaces.
