House of Eli Inc.

Mission

House of Eli is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit ministry that strives to identify and serve system-involved, aging-out, or homeless young men, aged 18-22 with housing, education, and employment. The purpose of this organization is to empower our clients using recovery-focused skills development, supportive care, vocational training, and advocacy. We believe a community where life is sacred, protected and affirmed is the cornerstone for recovery and freedom from the cycle of recidivism, abuse, and poverty.

Vision

We believe that, "What was broken in a home, must be healed in a home." We aspire to help our young men break the cycle of poverty, addiction, abuse, and neglect most were born into and find healing so that their future includes a healthy, stable home.

Goals

1.We are renovating another home just steps away from the main facility. This home will house two-three other young men who are in need of our services.
2.Open a thrift store to help our young men acquire retail sales experience, gain new knowledge, and improve customer service skills.
3.Purchase another home on the same block as the main facility to expand the number of young men we can serve.
